Please introduce yourself briefly (name, age, place of residence)

Armin. H., 17 years old, Kronberg im Taunus

Who else is in your family?

My parents, brother, dog, grandparents, cousins and my bike.

What's your profession? What do you like about it?

I go to the Altkönigschool in Kronberg. Of course I like the gym lessons most of all here.

What do sport in general and mountain biking in particular mean to you?

While I do sports, I have a clear head and do not have to deal with stressful things. I love being in nature with my bike and not having to think about anything but a great downhill run.

Is there anything else for you other than work and mountain biking?

Yes, besides mountain biking I also play football and like to ski. Furthermore, family and friends play a very important role in my life.

What memories/experiences have you had with MaXalami?

I mended a few tubeless-holes and was immediately convinced by the products, as they can prevent annoying tube changes.

How do you manage to reconcile your training with work and family or friends?

Since I am usually at school during the day and also train, I meet up with my friends in the evening or do something with my family.

How many hours a week do you work and how many do you train?

I am in school 36 hours a week and try to train 10-15 hours a week depending on the season and school situation.

Do you adapt your diet to your sport and what do you pay attention to?

No, I do not adapt my diet to the sport, but I try to eat healthy. Usually I eat what I feel like eating.

What does a typical day during the week look like for you?

7:00       Awake
7:10       Breakfast
7:40       by bike to school
13:00     Lunch
15:30     ride home from school
16:30     Training with the bike

What do you remember most about the past season?

I especially like to remember my 4-week road trip through Austria and Italy last summer. I was with friends and family in the most beautiful bike regions of Austria and Italy. I also like to remember every single race weekend, because I had a lot of fun at every race.

What goals have you set yourself for the 2020 season?

I want to have a lot of fun again in the 2020 season and get through the season without injury. I have not set myself any particular goals in this regard.
